When a warmer is the better call
Choose a warmer when open flame itself is the problem to solve: households with curious kids or pets, dorms or rentals with strict no-flame rules, or anyone who wants fragrance running unattended for long stretches without fire risk. Choose burning the actual wick when maximum hot throw and the ritual of a lit flame matter more than eliminating the flame.
Fit matters
A warmer only works well if the candle jar's base and diameter suit that warmer's heating plate or dish size. A mismatched fit — too tall, too wide, oddly shaped — can mean uneven melting or the candle simply not making good contact with the heat source.
